Narrative text

The whole idea of Bob stopping them from exiting that cavern after they encountered him is a really good one! O: I like that he randomly shows up and it's clear that he's a really big threat. Amongst all this, they also have him to worry about, the source of the problem, and he's STILL causing trouble. Even if it's not of his free will, he'd still be trying to sabotage them anyway. :c He's a giant toof, but...makes a great villain, of course. xD

It was really smart that Rudy thought to trap Bob's hand! O:! I don't imagine that he would have been able to do much else to stop the chalk. D: I wonder if the red chalk tried to make him draw anything inside the box. xD *imagines it drawing little insects that bite Bob's hand and annoy him* I mean, it would be really hard to know what else to draw. D: So GO RUDY! USING YOUR BRAIN INSTEAD OF YOUR INFINITE LOVE (which wouldn't work)!

I love that the dragon immediately popped back into action and began to chase them again. This chapter and the last were really fast-paced and it's one of the things that helped to make them always exciting and never dull. It's bigly good that Penny grew to be familiar with the layout of the mine, too-without her knowledge, they probably wouldn't be able to make it through, or not as efficiently anyway. Then again, if they were not efficient then...the dragon would have caught them. It would be a little shocking to find that they couldn't use the idea to create a second trap, too. It's understandable of course, since they ran out of time, but it would have been a real panic moment. D:

I like the detail that the dragon took a little longer than they thought it would, since it disappeared. The fact that it can be so quiet is a little disconcerting, and reminds me of when it went all ninja on them in chapter 17 and then suddenly appeared, showing just how quiet it can be when it wants to. It can be quiet...then strike. O: While reading, I was curious about what had happened to the dragon, and then when it showed up again, it was in the shackles. I assume that it tried to sneak through the cavern and then shoot out of the mine or something, only to get caught in (branches) the trap. I bet right then was when Rudy and Penny realised that they had to act and act fast, as their opportunity to trap the dragon properly had finally come.

When it first mentioned that the chains and shackles were beginning to come loose far earlier than any of them had anticipated, it was a very "OOOO:" moment, but also a "DDDD:" one. I was rather shocked about that because it was like, "Anything could happen...at any point. D:" and I had no idea how anything was going to turn out. SEE, UNPREDICTABILITY! It happened many times.

I love the drawing the barrier was a really big challenge. I kept having no idea what would happen next. It was really suspenseful that the dragon kept thrashing about and there was the potential to be hit by...anything! o.o As it said, tail, head or limb. Then there was the possibility of things like crumbling rock if it struck the walls or the ceiling and, if the mouth shackle came loose, fire. And of course with the power of the dragon overcoming all of the defences they had, anything was possible.

The first bad thing was when Rudy was slammed into the wall. D: Then losing his white chalk, then being nearly crushed to death. That was one of the most memorable moment of this chapter for me, for the sheer danger that it caused and all the terror that rushed through his mind because of it. It was a really intense moment that caused a lot of things, such as Penny trying to come to his rescue. I loved that she attempted a rescue though, and I thought that it was cool (XDDD sorry, guys) that it also didn't work. I really liked the idea of her being trapped under the shield and then drawing sides for it to be like a fortress, and that the dragon's tail continuously smashed into it but there was no damage. I bet Penny would have been REALLY dismayed by such a turn of events, as she was forced to sit there and watched as Rudy was being crushed. The fact that the dragon also kept him the attacks on the shield with its tail WHILE having the attention span to focus on crushing Rudy was pretty freaky.

I honestly had no idea how the situation was going to turn out when Rudy's attempt to distract the dragon by throwing away the green chalk didn't work. It was like, "Oh crap...that was his only plan!" especially after Penny's failed attempt. I mean, she was locked inside her own drawing and had problems of her own to deal with, and even though she knew that the chalk was virtually indestructible, the whole "tail smashing into her shield" thing would still have been pretty shocking, and no doubt the worried thought that the shield might somehow collapse on her after all would have crossed her mind. :c But yeah...when it went to Snap, I knew that he was going to do something. It was sad that he's so bigly injured, so it's great that he wanted to do something despite that but...I also knew it would be bad for him. D:

AS YOU KNOW, I BIGLY LOVED THE SNAP SACRIFICE SCENE. It's so like him and the way you had it happen was really awesome! OO: It was also really smart of him to think of that. xD I mean, it's really the only way that they could have made it out... Without Snap's selflessness, they would not have been able to do that at all. Rudy would have been crushed (not that you would have let him die, but you know xD) and Penny...who knows. D: So not only is Snap showing his bravery and awesomeness, but he really is saving everyone. Seriously, without him, they would have been totally fried or squashed...or something. I mean, to think that Snap's ONE sacrifice actually saved the whole of ChalkZone is pretty amazing to consider. He's really mindful of everyone else, which is great! 8D I BIGLY love how you portrayed this with the sacrifice... It's really noble, brave, AND REALLY SUSPENSEFUL!

I kept wondering how it was going to turn out. D: And when he would be stopped by the dragon, and what kind of damage he was going to sustain. :c Despite all that he had suffered already, he was still willing to go through with this-for his friends, for ChalkZone... HE'S SO GREAT. ;O; One other thing I thought was pretty cool was when Snap and Penny had that momentary connection. She must have realised just what was happening, and what he was going through in that brief moment, and also come to terms with the fact that she was helpless to aid him and that he was going to suffer for it.

I was relieved when Rudy finally broke out! xD Snap's health took a turn for the worse, but it's really awesome that something good came of the awful thing that happened to him. O: I really liked the scene where the dragon was blowing fire at Rudy, and it was smart of him to connect its head to the wall with the green chalk. And even this part, while they were trying to draw the barrier, was still suspenseful, especially because they kept having to stop and watch out for the dragon again. D: It was smart of Penny to draw that fire-deflecting shield! xD But yeah, they finally finished it and yay for it being done! OOO:

Examining Snap's wounds was like :ccc Because he got a lot of them from the sacrifice. It's good that they could treat the minor wounds, even if they couldn't do more than that, and yeah, I can understand their desperate want to get him to a hospital. D: THEN DOOTH INTERRUPTS, THE TOOF! That was a very "NUUUUUUUUUUU!" moment. xD I was so shocked to see that he had come back and started attacking them again! *angry face* He should have toofed away but NOOOOO, he had to come back and be annoying! It's funny that he came back even after ditching Bob. xD I imagine Bob would not be too happy with his creation, but Dooth still cares! But yeah, it was surprising to see him back again. THEN CERBERUS. AW, YOU CUTIE! I LOVED the fact that he turned good! xDDD That was so awesome! And he's BIGLY cute too. C: I loved seeing him be all sweet and thank them for helping him. xD And the fact that he's so BIG is funny in that regard as well.

You know, Bob's threats made me think that he probably CAN come back and...Rudy putting him back in the Real World was only temporary. I could be wrong, but I'm wondering. Though I doubt he would want to work with Vinnie and Terry again. xDDD
